truth or dare - users' reports

16/Oct/97

Write down a truth about yourself you would hate to admit.

1. This is very common, but that I am a human being. I cannot be more than a human being because I am a human being. My ideal is an ideal, and furthermore, it is limited by my humanness. Of course this thinking is also based on a human idealism.
2. That I will complete a mediocre life. I will have a biological death, and it forces me to live a life being a mediocre person expecting more from this mediocre self. This is an inherited property of a mediocre person, and also the reason why a human being exists.
3. That I am easy to be influenced despite I tend to assert my opinions. We look as if we deny what our predecessors have been doing, for example by progressing on science and civilization and ignoring our ugly history, but we cannot do without our predecessors' influences. (In addition, our life and thoughts have always an ancient colour.) Today's world is not as far developed as we think. The human race is just aided by the accumulation from the past. Just like we will be in use by the later generations. ...However, this is a weak assertion easy to be turned down if great philosophers or thinkers stated otherwise. What I mean is, always our values are under influences of something.
